purge some geek stuff

three times in the past two days i thought of some techie thing i wanted to be able to do and thought of the device that would allow me to do it and then looked around online for the device or DIY instructions to make one …… and then i realized i already had what i was looking for. the last one was a component video to vga converter. maybe i should inventory everything i have and include that list in my google searches.

  1. lol, you sound like my dad. He always had a garage (2 car) completely stuffed with random junk in boxes. He’s spend hours trying to find stuff and invariably he’d have it, but most of the time it was a $5 part and not worth the 3 hours spent looking.

Glad you had a good time with your family btw!

Oh and I want to see updated room pics and such :)

  2. Many I just wrote a nice long thing and then your site says it failed to send :(
Anyways, just saying you remind me of my dad stockpiling random things and that at least in his case it usually wasn’t worth 3 hours spent trying to find the thing for the $5 a new one would have cost.

And I want to see updated room pics!
