i’ve nearly completed learning and configuring freenas for my home fileserver. i’m trying to move my noisy drives away from my room but still access them from my mac, squeeze-devices, and stepmania console. it’s finicky getting the various protocols all up and talking at the same time. spent a few hours last night trying to get a *UCKING windows NIC driver to work.) ..already sounding like a mac fanboy)

my jesus phone is rockin. the ziphone hack was very easy (thank you hackery ziphone guy). i’m using tmobile service, and i had to add some proxy xml config to get the tmo data access working, but everything is workin. now, with the terminal app installed, i can access the BSD OS directly from the phone. next is to install the gcc compiler and continue my c edumucation using the safaribooksonline bookshelf as my teacher.
my macbook came this morning. it’s pretty. that’s all i can say so far.
after sampling everything that came in yesterday from tearsofjoysauces, the feeling in my stomach is the opposite of good. ehh.. i’m holding mahalo daily responsible.
need to have a massive purge on craigslist soon, or my towers of stuff will fall and smush me. too much booty. i’m like a pirate. ‘cept i paid for it and did kill anyone.
