i’ve reached a new low

… with my cooking.

my general method of “find something foody”, “break/cut it into smaller pieces”, “fry it in bacon grease”… has failed very badly today. it turned into an onion/potato/egg … um… pie? more of a salty mush. i hadn’t eaten anything of that consistency before, but as usual, i’m determined to eat it. lots of spice hides the taste.

  1. so I dunno if you remember me from the party a couple summers back when you wore a pink skirt but your entry made me automatically think of this dish which I guess includes pretty much only the ingredients you mentioned:

i’m sure that one is much tastier than mine was. i used waaayyy too much onion and cooked them in the wrong order. it was just acrid.

NOW you’re a cook. When you get to make THAT sort of thing, and then eat it.

BTW, I’m going to have no car starting on Wednesday (a new development), so we’ll have to figure out Ways to do some Food Shopping. Meanwhile, Glitch on Thurs?

thurs glitchy. let’s plan a little together. i’ll try to be more directly involved… though standing there while you do it would taste better.

Right, so that didn’t happen because some people had the temerity to have a show at MassArt, or somesuch. We’ll cook together yet, though. And you should definitely be more directly involved. That’s the fun part.
